Cruise along the rolling tea hills to Mount Brinchang while enjoying the cool crispy air. A commentary on tea will be given at one of the view point before the drive up to the highest mountain in the Cameron Highlands (2031m). If you are lucky, you will be blessed with the magnificent view of the surrounding area. An interpretive walk into the Mossy Forest will reveal some of the most of exotic flora of this mountain like the carnivorous Pitcher Plant, primitive Ferns, wild Orchids, Ti trees & rhododendrons. Other plants like spices, medicinal plants & poisonous plants will also be highlighted by our guide.
A short drive down from the mountain will bring you to the Oldest Tea Factory in Malaysia ~ Sungai Palas; here a factory tour will be conducted before visiting the Tea Shop. You will be amazed by the varieties of tea offered at the Ummph Tea Shop! Have a cuppa before the return journey back to the guest house.

This customized programme is for those who are interested to know more about the “Semai” tribe. Most of the village is situated at the Eastern valley of Cameron Highlands. The program begins with the drive thru one of the largest division of the Boh Tea Plantation. Visit the tea factory and enjoy a cup of tea at their Umpph! Tea Shop. After this stop will be made along the way to observe flora & fauna of the Hill Dipterocarp Forest.
At the village, you’ll be fascinated by the simple lifestyle and culture of these people. Try the Blowpipe and get to know their weapons, tools, musical instruments etc. Observe the traditional bamboo huts built only with bamboos, wood and palm leaves. A short walk around the village with our guide will reveal some of the medicinal plants used by the Orang Asli’s. Another twenty minutes drive from the village will bring you to one of the oldest farming village in Cameron Highlands- The Bertam Valley! Be amazed by the number of vegetable terraces along the way.

This program is a combination of The Mount Brinchang Mossy Forest Tour and The Orang Asli Village Visit. The journey begins with a short commentary stop at the Sungai Palas Tea Plantation before the drive up to Gunung Brinchang, the highest mountain in Cameron Highlands! With a little bit of luck you can enjoy the magnificent view of Cameron Highlands from the view tower at 6666 feet above sea level. The guided walk into the Mossy Forest will reveal some of the exotic montane flora and fauna.
A short drive down from the mountain will bring you to the Oldest Tea Factory in Malaysia; here a tour of the factory will be conducted by our guide. Have a cup of tea at The Ummpp Tea Shop, where you’ll be fascinated by the wide range of tea offered here.
The next stop will be Tanah Rata for lunch. After lunch the journey continues through vegetable and flower farms to an Orang Asli village situated at the Eastern Valley of Cameron Highlands. Here one can observe an Orang Asli village untouched by time. Be amazed by their simple lifestyles, culture and their tradition. You’ll have a chance to join the Orang Asli for tea, where you can try tapioca cooked traditionally. Our guide will help you understand more about their weapons, tools, musical instruments etc. A twenty minute walk will bring you to a creek, where you can have a dip. Along the walk our guide will show & let you try some of their medicinal plants.
Next, enjoy the bumpy ride uphill through thick vegetation before you arrive at the Boh Tea Plantation (Farlie Division). Half an hour drive from here will bring you back to Tanah Rata.
